Central American DJ born on May 28, 1976 in Turrialba, Costa Rica and Promosonica event agency owner. His main genre music influences are Glam Rock, Classic Punk, New Wave and bands such as Pink Floyd, The Cure, Depeche Mode, New Order, Joy Division, Pet Shop Boys and Kraftwerk, among others. In the early nineties his passion for music drove him closer to working on production and began empirical practice, initially with drums, then the keyboards, having the opportunity to be part of some rock bands with which he organized concerts and Alternative parties where Casal used to play music. At the end of that decade, he decided to continue his career as DJ and in 2002 discovered the Electroclash genre which for him represented a hybrid of many of the things that he had been passionate about, around late 2003 he raised his "Electro" proposal which included more Dance sounds which applealed to the electronic scene in Costa Rica who were curious about the idea. Shortly thereafter decides to experiment with other sub-genres such as House, Progressive and Techno. In 2004 he founded Promosonica, an agency responsible for organizing various important massive events in Costa Rica, Central and South America and Miami and with which he implemented some residences and projects like Promosonica Radio Show, others in television and the organization of the "Chepe Joven" DJ parade. He has had the opportunity to play in the most important clubs in Costa Rica and has toured in Colombia, Ecuador, Honduras, Panama, Mexico, Miami and mixed at international festivals such as Winter Music Conference in 2007 and World Expo Djs. He has shared stage with several international top DJs like Donald Glaude, Angel Alanis, Barry Harris, Lenny Fontana, Willie Morales, Robbie Rivera, Rene Amesz, Rooster & Sammy Peralta, Chris Fortier, Paul Harris (Dirty Vegas), Willy Sanjuan, Yves Larock and Mario Ochoa, and others. Also, has been hired to play with artists such as Ray Wilson (former lead singer of British band Genesis), and bands like Jaguars, Korn and POD. He was invited to the opening act for Guns 'N' Roses in Costa Rica and David Guetta too, but these two events were canceled. Because of his profile, charisma and versatility, is often invited to play in some fashion shows and massive events like the Juegos Deportivos Nacionales in 2006 performing in front of more than 10 thousand people at a stadium in Costa Rica and at the Festival Nacional de las Artes 2011 which generates a great contribution to his goal of expanding the boundaries of electronic music in his country, attracting more and new people to listen to his music and in doing so building a larger fan base.
